It’s a different world right now and Mrs. Heintskill’s fifth grade class put their feelings down in the form of a book. These are just some of the pages that these students wrote and illustrated to share what it was like to have class virtually, how they see the world, and how a quarantine has changed things. The class worked very hard on this book and together made decisions on the cover, its title and dedication page. One day these fifth grade students will look back on the year 2020 and they will always have this worthwhile keepsake.

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week and teachers everywhere deserve to be recognized, but today, lets give a special shout out to our All Saints teachers. These past seven weeks have been like no other and our teachers haven’t skipped a beat. When they said goodbye to their students and closed their classroom doors on March 13th, All Saints teachers were already thinking of how they were going to continue to give their students the best education possible- the education they deserved. Quality virtual (online) learning was immediately arranged to come to our students from the homes of our teachers. ASC teachers set up “classrooms” on their dining room tables, from their basements and from their living rooms. Sure, our teachers wish they were with their students in their classrooms on the All Saints campus, but they’re not. So just like their students, our teachers are making this work-they're giving it their all. Thank you All Saints teachers for always caring about your students the way that you do; for wanting them to succeed and grow in their faith-for wanting them to be the best that they can be. We are so fortunate to have each and every one of you as part of our All Saints family. God Bless You All.

🙏🏻 Lord Jesus, we come to you this day and ask for your mercy and healing power to cover our world, country, town and especially our All Saints Central community. Every student, sibling, parent, guardian, teacher, staff member, volunteer, coach, friend, supporter, alumni, priest and religious needs your protection and guidance. Help us, Lord, as we stay at home and fight this; as we pray for the the medical community and the world as it races for a prevention, cure and treatment. Please hear our cries for relief from this pandemic, combined with the cries and efforts from those around the world as we seek hope, peace and healing. We understand that this illness has affected all of us. It has touched every aspect of our lives and at times we can feel overwhelmed and afraid. However, let us not forget that You are bigger than all of this. Your mercy and presence are greater than all of our needs combined. Our ASC families that are touched by the effects of this virus through illness, separation and loss of job security know that they do not stand alone. Lord, we know You stand with us, before us and behind us as this battle rages-You do not leave us abandoned. Dear Lord, may we always be a reflection of Your light within and trust in Your love and amazing grace. All Saints, pray for us. Amen.

Thanks to all that participated in our Book Tag Tree project in celebration of "National Read a Book Day" at area masses this past weekend! We hope you found it as fun as we did. Special thanks to Our Lady of Czestochowa, All Saints and St. Jude parishes for letting us try something new. Books are due back this coming weekend. Thanks for your support!

You never know who you will see on the stage at the Bay City Players. An ASCE 3rd grader was spotted in the recent production of Annie! We know those roles are hard to get so job well done!
