A heartfelt congratulations is extended to 2009 graduate Marc Hopps. He will be ordained to the priesthood on Friday, May 31st. After ordination, he will be a parochial vicar (associate pastor) at Holy Spirit parish in Saginaw with Fr. Pete Gaspeny.
Marc attended Holy Trinity Elementary School, Holy Family Middle School and graduated from All Saints Central High School.
Post-secondary degree education included institutions such as St. John Vianney College Seminary at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN; the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome; and Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit.
During his schooling at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Marc was blessed to have had spent a pastoral year at Holy Family parish in Peck/Sandusky and Marlette as well as a summer at Resurrection of Our Lord Parish in Standish Marc has been serving at St. Dominic parish in Saginaw since July 2018. In November 2018, he was ordained to the Transitional Diaconate by Bishop Walter Hurley.
