Activities

An All Saints Central education offers more than classroom instruction. Most students involve themselves in one or more of a variety of extracurricular activities. There is something for everyone!

Student Council

Student Council consists of a group of elected representatives from the student body: Executive Board, Vice-President, Class Presidents, Senators & Representatives of several extra-curricular groups. Student Council sponsors Homecoming, class elections, March Madness, Elementary School Field Day, and community service projects throughout the year. In addition, the Council participates in student affairs as called upon by the administration and the student body.

National Honor Society

NHS is an organization that promotes appropriate recognition for students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of academics, character, leadership, and service. The Caritas Chapter of the NHS sponsors bi-annual blood drives, raises money for the American Cancer Society through the spring daffodil sales, organizes Career Day and the Senior Citizen Luncheon.

Yellow Ribbon Club

Yellow Ribbon Club members focus on the prevention of suicide. Members work on educating fellow students & parents about the warning signs of suicide and prevention. They also stress the importance of celebrating life.

Theater/Drama

In addition to acting opportunities, students may participate by helping with directing, lighting, stage crew, set design, program design, advertising, or concessions. At the high school level, two plays are produced annually, one in the fall and one in the spring. Middle school students perform one play each spring.

Music Ministry

All middle and high school students are welcome to join the Music Ministry group to lend their voices and instrument skill to mass and other worship services.

Key Club

Student members of Key Club perform acts of service in the community.  They also learn leadership skills by running meetings and planning projects.  Projects that Key Club members do annually include making blankets for the women's shelter, Christmas caroling, and participating in Hoops for the Homeless, a fundraiser for the Rescue Mission.

Yearbook

Yearbook class is offered to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The Yearbook Staff produces a book that chronicles the life and times of ASC students during the year. Students learn photography, layout, design, journalistic writing styles, desktop publishing, advertising, sales, and teamwork.
